FFL Fab Lab
What is the FFL Fab Lab?
It is Fayetteville Free Library’s Fabulous Laboratory, where resources will be available for making things.
When will the Lab be available?
We are currently renovating the East Wing of our building to provide a permanent location for the Fab Lab.
How can I use one of your 3D printers now?
We currently provide access to three 3D printers in our FFL Creation Lab.
Call (315) 637-6374 ext. 2 to sign up for a one-on-one 3D printer training appointment. Once you have attended this training, we will put a note on your library card that indicates you are "3D Printer Certified," so you can come use the printers independently. We charge a small fee for printing, to offset the cost of the printer plastic.

Why a Fab Lab at the Fayetteville Free Library?
Many of these technologies are not accessible to the general public. For instance, there is no other place in New York that provides free and open access to 3D printing technology, which has the power to revolutionize society. The public library will provide a safe and accessible space where anyone in the community can interact, understand and develop through use of the technologies available in the space.
