Explore the magical world of dinosaurs! Field Paleontologists Mike and Roberta Straka will construct a dinosaur dig site at the library, and students will get the chance to dig for REAL dinosaur bones! They will actually build a Triceratops with the bones that they discover.
Space is limited to 50 students for the dig! Please register for one spot per child (adults do not need to register).
Before and after the dig, Jr. palentologists will learn about fossils, and have the chance to explore afossil showcase including a 66-million-year-old meteorite believed to be part of the meteorite that started the great extinction.
