May's featured speaker will be Elinor Cramer.With poems of local history as well as her own story, Elinor Cramer is the author of a recent chapbook, “Mayflower” and a collection, “She Is a Pupa, Soft and White.” Her chapbook, “Canal Walls Engineered So Carefully They Still Hold Water” was make possible by a New York State Heritage grant. Her poems have appeared in “Nine Mile,” “Stone Canoe,” “The Comstock Review,” “Main Street Rag,” and other journals. She has an M.F.A. from Warren Wilson College and lives in Syracuse where she practices psychotherapy.
