The Palace Poetry Group is an open group whose mission is to help poets find their poetic voices and in so doing encourage each other. Poets and all who appreciate poetry are welcome to attend.

Join the Palace Poetry Group for a poetry reading by a featured speaker every month followed by an open mic.

July's featured reader will be Patricia Roth Schwartz.

Patricia Roth Schwartz has had published six volumes of poetry from FootHills Publishing and one from Blue Heron, including The Crows of Copper John: a History of Auburn Prison in Poems. Pat also conducts writers’ workshops throughout the Finger Lakes region and for Writers & Books in Rochester; currently, she is offering a monthly writers’ support group at the Waterloo Library & Historical Society, funded by Poets & Writers, Inc. Her full-length memoir, Soul Knows No Bars, about her work with inmates will be  released from Olive Trees Publishing in the spring of 2019.
