Prepared Pet Owner: The Basics

In this presentation you will learn:

  • How to be a prepared pet owner
  • How to maximize your pet’s potential for good health
  • Pet Basics
  • How to assess your pet’s health
  • How to avoid common hazards
  • How to prepare to handle an emergency

Whether you are a new or seasoned pet owner, this course is designed to help you maximize your pet’s potential for good health and prevent avoidable problems. We parallel pet concerns with people concerns and explore how we can improve health for all.  There will be plenty of time to share personal stories and ask questions.  Participants receive a Pet First Aid Kit.  2hr presentation.

*This course is a required prerequisite for our Advanced First Aid Course, which teaches important skills such as CPR, Mouth to Snout Breathing, etc.
