Join playwrights Malkiel Choseed and Donna Stuccio for a workshop geared to playwrights and fiction writers on developing dialogue.
Malkiel Choseed earned his MA and Ph.D. in English from the University of Pittsburgh. He is an expert in Shakespeare and has been teaching drama and literary criticism along with college level writing since 1997. He has taught drama in such diverse places as a prison psychiatric ward, a state penitentiary, and, of course, diverse college classrooms to students of all ages and abilities. He is an amateur playwright who likes to experiment with short-form drama.
Donna Stuccio earned a bachelors degree in Acting from Syracuse University's Drama Department and a Creative Writing/Playwriting M.F.A. from Goddard College. She has served as president of Armory Square Playwrights for over 20 years and also serves as the Dramatist Guild Ambassador in Central New York. Her plays, long and short, have had full productions and readings around the country, most recently in Valdez, Alaska at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference. Her long acting career began with appearances in La Ronde and Street Car Named Desire at Syracuse Stage followed by many productions in and around Central New York. Also a former dancer, Donna has appeared in several musicals on CNY stages and became quite accomplished at hiding the fact she doesn't sing. To ensure that there is food on the table, Donna is a professor of criminal justice and attempts to entertain her students and anyone else who will listen, as most former cops do, with stories of her time on the street.
