Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with proper identification. Individuals may apply for a card online or in person at any Onondaga County public library. A valid Onondaga County Public Library card can be used at any public library in the County. The library must be notified of lost or stolen cards and changes of address. *Renewals are available on most items. If another patron has requested an item renewals may not be possible. Patrons may renew online, in person, or by telephone by dialing (315) 637-6374 ext. 1.

Fines incurred in error by the Library or due to special circumstances may be appealed by contacting Circulation at tgates@fflib.org. Contesting a fine does not guarantee waiver but does allow for further evaluation of the fine in accordance with our policy and procedures.

      Holds

Holds may be placed on items in person, by phone or online.  Patrons have five days to pick up materials after notification by postcard, email or telephone. There is no charge for this service.  Patrons may manage their accounts online, including holds and renewals, with a valid PIN number.
